Five of my New years resolutions!
This year I am changing it up a bit! Sure, working out and eating right are going to be on my list too but more importantly I am hoping to make some new lifestyle changes as well!
- Wake up earlier: For a while I started to enjoy waking up earlier than I needed to rather than waking up late and rushing out the door. I love having this time to sit in the quiet and plan out my day while I have my coffee!
- Be still: In this busy season of life, finishing my last semester of school and planning a wedding, life can get crazy at times. I have learned that if I make time at the start of my day to sit and reflect and do my quiet time, I have those thoughts with me during the ups and downs of my day to help in those stressful moments.
- Read more: I have never been a reader, and I can count on one hand the amount of books I have probably ever read and I don’t choose to read in my free time. ha ha. even so, I would love to find a good read to curl up with every now and then!
- Unplug: I'll admit, I use and have my phone with me most of the time and check it pretty often. I enjoy my social media and being able to connect/do anything with the click of a button but sometimes it can be excessive and not necessary. This year I hope to unplug and leave my phone every once in a while and be in the moment.
Write something everyday: Graduating college, getting married, and starting a new job this year is going to be full of new things! I can’t think of a better way to remember all of it by writing a tiny bit of each day will be so fun to look back at, at the end of the year!
In addition, this year I am getting creative! I am so happy that I am able to blog about what I love, but I want to make sure that I am giving you what you want to see! I am so excited for what the new year is going to bring and I would love to hear suggestions from you! The best is yet to come!
