Getting back on track

With the unpredictable summer schedules and vacations here and there, it can be hard to stay on track with your workout routine. I always have good intentions to workout while on vacation or squeeze in a workout on a busy day, but if I am being honest that does not always happen!

I am finally home and settled for a while and excited to get back into a routine! I am no expert, but for me I love to hear tips and tricks from other bloggers, friends and family, and I am sure that you guys do too! These are just a few of the things I try to do when I am trying to get myself back on track! 


Here are a few things that I am doing to kick start my summer workout routine!  

1. Start slow – Listening to your body is so important! But that doesn't mean to stop or do less of something because it is hard. If you want real results you should always push yourself to go longer and harder than you think you can! 

2. Do something everyday – Get moving! We all need a break now and then but even on those days, if you are just going on a walk or doing 20 minutes of cardio, something is better than nothing! 

3. Stretch – Stretching is so important especially when you are just starting back with your workouts after a little time off. Stretching for at least five minutes (before and after) each workout is crucial to how you will perform in the days to come!
